Microsoft released Windows 7 Beta for public testing. After about a month, Today Microsoft announced Windows 7 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) strategy and Windows 7 has got 6 editions.
- Windows 7 Starter
- Windows 7 Home Basic
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- Windows 7 Professional
- Windows 7 Enterprise and
- Windows 7 Ultimate
Microsoft is paying attention on development of Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional, that’ll be offered for Home User and small business respectively
