Lagaan and Chak-de-India – Management themes

For me both movies say something about management, here are my words:
Lagaan
The movie is about team building and co-ordination. Amir Khan, as a Manager reminds us how disgusting is the traditional politics policy “Do as I say, not as I do”. He really starts doing what others have to do. We can learn the message of team building to team co-ordination from this.
Chak de India
This movie is on another track of Lagan, it does not say anything about team formation but it says an important thing – unity, spirit and motivation. Shah Ruk Kahn plays only a small role in this movie. The idea of ‘unity’ in this movie was just a coincidence as he was simply sitting idle in the restaurant watching the fuss these girls were making.
