In a business/management view, it is right we need to ban certain internet services in workplaces. Like – instant messaging, streaming movies, social networking etc. This is a must to save the valuable productive hours as well as bandwidth.
But what happends when most of the websites are banned?
I believe, without internet a techie’s knowledge wont get updated. I have the habbit of googling when ever a new technical term is heard. Now a days I get ‘Dear Praveen, This is a message from the IT Department. Current Internet Access Configuration does not allow you to visit sites within this category at this time.”
Well…annoying right?
